A bit more about myself:

I happened to be hired by a studio does 2D/3D postproduction for TV commercials as an intern of 3D imagery. I just graduated from university at that time. I learned aeronautics there, something like fluid dynamics, machinary, gas turbine and so on. I finally abandoned the idea of joining air force to be a ground crew or working in some research institution. Instead of that I enter the world of 3D. I don't know why they hired me. Some sketches of aircraft were what I could show them. But I learned to fly Maya so quickly that I can make a living with it. I left there 8 months later and started to work as a freelancer for several companies picked me up. Now I have nothing to do and focus no my protfolio.

I am just a developer and solution finder. I have done a lot of MEL scripting before I make my first contact with RenderMan. I like programming and creating interesting effects with that. I haven't enough time for artistic working like modeling, lighting, texturing and so on. So I am never a skilled 3D worker. Studios here never value technical stuff. They never hire modeling or lighting artist separately. So it is not easy for a person like me to find a job here.

I have done extensive research about RAT workflow, RSL scripting, but I have no chance to put it into practice, to make money with it. No studio here use RenderMan, even for film. People even don't care what RenderMan is. I really am longing for some opportunity to use what I have learned. I am working with my demoreel, some animation rendered with RAT. DEATHFALL hosted my homepage for my working. I make friends all over the world, asking and answering questions, sharing what I have. I feel really good.

I want to be hired as a shader writer, working with RenderMan for film or animated shot, but I haven't any related experience, you know, it is impossible to have any. But I'm sure I can learn quickly. I am 25, too young to give up. I will be waiting for my chance to make my mark.

If I am hired, I want to work in a creative group, helping artists walking around technical roadblocks. It is the best position for me.
