We have a start point like this. Each finger is a cylinder has 8 spans in the v-direction.

Detach the finger to 4 2-spanned patches, and detach the palm-side patch, then insert isoparm and move CVs for more detail.

Snap the two corners of each side together to eliminate movement after aligned.

Align and rebuild surfaces, set tool option like this.

Create a loft surface between the two patches.

Repeat align and rebuild surfaces between the loft and one patch, then detach them.

Do the same thing to the loft and the other patch.

Detach the first two patches, and do Global Stitch to the 5 patches.
